Priyanka Chopra says Nick Jonas noticed her win Miss World on TV when he was 7. Watch

Nick Jonas and Priyanka had been married in Hindu and Christian ceremonies in Rajasthan on December 1, 2018. In an interview with singer-actor Jennifer Hudson on her discuss present, Priyanka associated the loopy story of how a younger Nick watched her on TV when she was 18. She recalled, “When my mother-in-law informed me that story, I used to be like ‘I do not know…’. After I had simply turned 18, I received the Miss World pageant. This was in London. This was November and I turned 18 in July. An entire little one, and I had no concept what I used to be doing or what this world entailed, did not have plenty of follow. Apparently, my mother-in-law was like ‘I remember watching you when you won!’ I used to be in London, that is 2000. They had been in Texas. I used to be like, ‘There isn’t any manner!’

Priyanka continued, “She said, ‘I remember it so clearly because it was November. Nick was on some Broadway show at 7 years old. His brother was on some Broadway show at 8 or 9. And she said I remember this clearly because Kevin Sr, my father-in-law, loves watching pageants. I remember he was watching it and Nick came and sat down and watched you win. Which is unfathomable! That was 22 years ago or something. He was 7, and I was 17. And he was sitting there and he was watching. It was so weird. I do think that people are meant to be with each other for whatever that duration in your life is supposed to be.”

She additionally added, “I think that people collide because you’re supposed to create, on this small short life that you have, memories that you will take forward, family and I think that Nick and I had, through our lives, these weird enchanted little moments. But it’s lovely now to have found your person.”

The actor will start her subsequent filmHeads Of State, co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba, within the UK. Nick is touring the nation together with his siblings and their band, Jonas Brothers.
